2003 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Description

HI and thanks for looking at my 03 SL500 hardtop convertible. I purchased the car about 2 months ago with the intention of shipping it from CA to FL and doing a full restoration and I just don't have the time or money.
So here it is, no reserve, highest bid wins!! Whatever the amount. So bid to win and go do what I couldn't.
I'm available at 727-482-9299, anytime, to answer any questions. My name is Ed.
The good.Engine sounds great, transmission appears to be fine, body overall is very clean, frame is straight, tires are brand new, 0 miles, all body panels line up perfectly.
The bad.It needs at least the 2 front struts, visible leak, rear seem okay, however on 20" wheels the car is sitting too low to drive, wheels are road-rashed and one wheel is cracked and leaking, both fenders are dinged from tires hitting, front valance is scraped and cracked, transmission pan seal is wet, vacuum pump that operates top and central door locks isn't coming on, small hole cut in trunk lid, behind license plate, to access trunk without central locks working, the interior is filthy, carpet and seats need a minimum of a good cleaning, the outside is dusty, but the paint is good all around, the blade for the key/remote is missing, it will still start and drive, just plan on getting a replacement key if you want the blade, no current registration, title is salvage.
I believe if you brought a set of 17" wheels with the correct bolt pattern, to collect the vehicle, that it could be driven without rubbing on the fenders, but I dont 100% know that because I haven't tried.
The odometer shows 88k miles, but I'm selling it as total miles unknown (TMU) because I have no idea if that is accurate mileage or not.
This is a project car, I think you could make a very cool track car or get it roadworthy again. I live in FL but bought the car in CA and its currently in Hawaiin Gardens, in Los Angeles, at a mechanic buddy of mines. He needs the space as it is tying up one of his lifts.
Please DO NOT buy/bid on it if there is any reason at all that you won't complete the purchase. Don't tell me your kid bid on it, that you have a family emergency, that your wife will not let you, I just want to sell it to the highest bidder and I don't have time to deal with anyone's BS.
I will make the title immediately available upon full payment. Don't show up and expect to drive the car away, you'll have to bring a tow truck or flatbed or whatever, and realize it is sitting very low to the ground. I had it towed to hit shop, so it is possible to tow, but expain it to whoever will be collecting it for you.
Thanka for looking and good luck winning the bid!!
