| This White Mercedes SL-600 Two Door V12 Roadster is in beautiful condition, as can be seen in the attached photos. It is my personal collectiblecar and has been garage kept since it was new, having belonged originally to a lady in Las Vegas, so no rain, no snow, or corrosive road chemicals. I have owned this car for over 10 years and have maintained it like a Navy Ship. There are literally no known mechanical issues. The body and finish are just about as close to flawless as a new car. The car is equipped with the removable hard top, which makes it like an enclosed sedan. I recently replaced the headliner with the new Mercedes headliner. It also has the convertibletop, which stows invisibly. The convertibletop was replaced just before I bought the car and is in perfect condition. It is the original Mercedes top, with the cloth feel, not a cheap vinyl replacement. The car has a factory roll bar, which can be electrically raised and lowered. It also deploys automatically in case of an accident. I also have the mesh wind screen for the roll bar, which dramatically reduces wind in the passenger compartment at highway speeds. The hard top does need to have the edge gaskets replaced. They look perfect. But, appear to have lost their elasticity in several places. They are quiet, with no wind noise. But, I have noticed that if I get caught in a downpour they might drip. This doesn't cause me any problems, as I do not typically drive the car in the rain, and never store it outdoors. But, I want to mention it in the interest of full disclosure. This car is powered by a silky smooth but very powerful 389 HP V12 engine. This engine was hand built and the car and engine were built and assembled in Germany. The car handles like a sports car. It is fun to drive and goes where you point it. But, especially with the hard top on, it is luxuriously quiet and refined. There are no known mechanical defects and I have had no issues with the car. I replaced the radiator several years ago and fixed a cracked HVAC coolant control valve. All repairs have been done by Mercedes or by a very experienced mechanic friend and me. I have run Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil since I have had the car.The interior is in excellent conditions, almost perfect. Please see the photos. The car has not been professional detailed. So, the condition you see is as it has been kept. There are several small things which I should note in the interior. There is a very small "pick" about one centimeter in the driver's seat where the edge of the seat protrudes hugging the driver when he sits and drives. This could be sewed and repaired very easily. There is also a small imperfection in the center arm rest/compartment cover. This cover can be found online and is easily replaced with the removal of several screws. The passenger door armrest cover needs a hinge pin replaced. I don't use this compartment, so it doesn't bother me. You can also find this cover and replace it completely. Please ask for more information if this concerns you. The covering on the door pillar has shrunken slightly with age and pulled back slightly. This could be stretched back into place and held with adhesive. I have not done this. It is on my list. I purchased the top after I bought the car. The interior color of the top is slightly darker than the interior of the car. Quite frankly, I like the rich leather look of the interior of the top and think it adds accent. The climate control system works perfectly. The A/C is icy cold and the heat appears instantly on a cold morning. It is thermostatically controlled and automatic, if so selected. The car is so well insulated that it doesn't really get cold if left parked outside for several hours in the winter after driving, which always amazed me.The car has one of the best sounding sound systems of any car I have had. It has factory Bose speakers and a Pioneer tuner/CD Player with trunk mounted changer. It is also satellite radio ready, though I have never installed this. The radio also has a remote. This car came with a built in cellular phone, in a dash compartment which opens with the push of a button. I thought of removing this and having the extra space as storage.I have the factory manuals with the car, as well as the CarFax which I got before I bought the car. There are no "incidents" on that report, and it has suffered none in my possession. I also have the official Mercedes Factory Service Manual on DVD, which I will include. I paid over $300. This is very nice to have. The car has approximately 92,000 miles, see odometer in the photo. Please note that is about only about 4000 miles/year. I do drive it a few miles several times a week to keep everything lubricated and well maintained. So, this mileage can increase very slightly. The engine is just getting broken in well. It does not use any oil between changes and the oil stays bright and clean. Please ask any questions you may have. I am interested complete accuracy in the description. This is really a beautiful car and gets a lot of comments when driven. I have reallyenjoyed owing it and hope to find it a new owner who will care for it like I have. Terms: Full advance payment, receipt of which must be verified, before release of title.
