This 2006 Mercedez Benz SLK 555 AMG Roadster is 124,000 tight miles on her and she runs as smooth and powerful as the day she rolled off the assembly line. I bought her new in 2006 and have loved her ever since. She’s been based in California her whole life and has never seen snow or salted roads.

She has a couple dings from the road which is where she wants to be. Put the top down in 22 seconds at the touch of a button, activate the smooth and well engineered air-scarf, point her to the open road and feel the power of those Bavarian ponies kicking you and your passenger square in the ass. Light up the 11 speaker Harmon-Kardon sound system and you won’t even hear the wind as it cascades over you like the cockpit of a jet fighter.

Note:

The passenger seat electric adjust needs a new lever but the dealer wants $400 to replace the unit. It works, but you have to use your fingernail.

Couple of dings here and there, and the AMB Ari Dam scuffs on the lower bumper that all of these cars have before Mercedes went to the cut-up air-dam design.

Every service has been done by the dealer and I'll bet I can get a report from Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel to prove it if you want.
