1988 Mercedes-Benz 400-Series 420SEL Description

1988 Mercedes 420SEL that needs some TLC and some repairs. The engine has new cylinder heads, timing chain, timing chain guides, timing chain tensioner oilpumped, oil pump drive chain and spark plugs & wires, however still needs some work to rung dependably. The engine needs a cold start injector and fuel pressure regulator and possibly some other work. The previous owner passed and the family doesn't want to put any more money into the vehicle and just wants to sell the vehicle as is. The body has some hail damage and other dent damage, but is repairable and has very little to no rust and there are no spots on the body that are rusted through. If there are any particular locations that additional pictures are needed that can be arranged. The trunk and wheel wells are solid with no rust holes and vehicle has the original spare tire and jack. The interior is in pretty good shape except for the drivers seat that needs some support work because some of the springs that hold the foam inside either broke or need to be reattached to the frame. This vehicle has been inside a garage for the majority of its life, prior to timing chain guides breaking and being bought by current owner the vehicle was garage kept and has been in a garage or under a car port since current owners husband purchased vehicle. This vehicle does have a clean and clear title.
