1988 Mercury Other Description

Moving and need to get rid of this one. The car is in running and driving condition. It has not been licensed or driven regularly in 3 years. I bought it in non working condition about a year ago, since then I have put a different engine and transmission, that I had from another project, brake lines, and lots of other small things into it. The engine runs very well, even on old gas, but will sometimes give a puff of smoke when you first start it (I suspect valve seals) it has a Rapido front mount inter cooler. A couple of things it will need, the steering rack seals are leaking and it will need to be replaced or rebuilt, and it needs a new guibo for the driveline. It is drivable with both problems. Also there is a slight spot of rust under the right rear quarter window, and I think the paint looks a little better in the pictures than it does in person. Interior is very good considering the age and that it is an Xr, has upgraded speakers and a CD player that I have not had time to instal. mileage is unknown, has an upgraded 150mph speedo and the odometer rolls over at 100k, currently reading 61,396. Would be fun to keep it but I am moving across the county and don't have time or space for it anymore.
