1973 Mercury Cougar convertible Description

1973 Mercury Cougar convertible, really nice car but I just don't drive it enough. I've owned it for about 5 years and have had it repainted (done right, there is no bondo in this car). The paint is in great shape but could use a nice buff and wax job. The trunk was also cleaned up and repainted and a new trunk liner installed. Bumpers were also replaced when painted but a few blemishes have appeared, a good chrome polish/detail would really help them pop, same with the rims. 4 brand new tires. New top and interior installed. Just put in a new fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump and fuel lines. New upgraded radiator (no cooling issues). 351 cleveland (rebuilt by previous owner) compression good on all cylinders. Odometer says 1,747, title says exempt. I think the odometer was reset when the engine was rebuilt, but I can't swear to it. Automatic transmission (rebuilt when I purchased it about 5 years ago). 4 barrel Edelbrock carb recently rebuilt. I've replaced the distributor and plug wires. It is an A/C car but the compressor was removed before I purchased it and I never replaced it. I only drive it on nice days with the top down. Always garage kept since I've owned. Runs good but does need to warm up, after all it is a 43 year old car. I'm not sure I have the carb and timing set exactly right, it probably just needs to be driven more. I have dumped a ton of money into this car and I know I'll never get it all back out, so here is a chance to get a nice car with most of the work done. I also have brand new door cards ($600) in the box for the new owner to install if they choose. Also have the original wheel well trim (in trunk) if you want to go back to the original look. Extra set of tail lights (in trunk). The original bumperettes (in trunk) if you choose to go back to the stock look. Original steering wheel and whatever miscellaneous parts I have also included. I also have the original center console. I'm sure I have forgotten something, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
