1993 Mercury Capri Description

What we have here is an unadulterated 1993 Mercury (OZ, Aussie) Capri.
Built largely of Japanese (Mazda) components, by Ford of Australia, with aesthetics penned by no less an eminence than Giorgetto Giguiaro of ItalDesign, and ultimately engineered by Ford Motor Company of America, this Miata competitor was the ultimate well-bred mongrel. In case you weren't paying attention, that's Japan-Austral-Italian done the American way. Got that?
Specifically, this topless beast has had only 2 owners in her lifetime. One for about 20 years, and one for about 3. She's been cared for, and it shows. This car has had special care paid to routine maintenance and fluid changes. Further care has been taken to make sure she's ready for fair weather; new parts include:
Rear brake rotors and pads.
60 month battery.
Spark plugs.
Wires.
Distributor cap and rotor.
Beyond that, the car has fresh oil, filter, and has been fully detailed.
Eventually, she'll need tires and front brakes. To that end, front pads and rotors will be included with the "Buy It Now" price.
The car is virtually rust free and is in excellent running condition. She exhibits a bare minimum of flaws, most of which are visible in the photos. To wit: there is some rust at the base of the left fender, and some spider scratches on both fenders. An attentive, quality buff and feeding of the paint would likely attenuate this, but the car presents beautifully regardless.
The car has but 48K and change on the odometer, and operates like such a youthful machine should. She's ready for a new home, having been loved and enjoyed in her current one!
As expected, no warranties expressed or implied; though this is a nice car, it is a used one.
