1967 Mercury Grand Marquis Colony Park Description

This is a classic old beast of a car. Not in perfect cosmetic shape, but it looks pretty good. It has had a recent oil change. It has to crank a bit to start, and occasionally chokes out at stoplights. I was told originally that the carburetor needed to be cleaned. The mechanic I took it to said there is some varnishing in the fuel tank/system. He didn't have the capacity to boil out the tank, but recommended that that be done. That should improve the way it runs. It's an old car and it drives like one. Definitely not as spry as a new Toyota. This is a fun old retro car with lots of space to haul around stuff, groceries, kids, and memories. We just had a baby and the wife says it needs to go...(she also says I never should have got it to begin with... but you get the idea) Give it a look.
