1968 Mercury Cougar XR-7 Description

Up for sale is a 1968 mercury cougar. This car is not perfect. Has rust in several small places, but is not bad at all for its age. This car could be repared to near perfect for not much money at all. Car runs and drives good. No, it's not the original motor....if it was, I'd be asking a lot more for it. Headliner needs replaced....but one is included with the sale. This car IS NOT PERFECT. It is a project that you can drive while you work on it. NOT many of these around...especially in this shape. I have included pictures of the rust spots I found that were oblivious. I am selling this car for a friend. The reserve is very generous in my opinion....he is not asking much...but he will not give it away. I have described this car to the best of my knowledge....please do not assume anything....if you have any questions please ask. If I don't know the answer, I'll get it for you asap. Update: I've had several people ask for the VIN so here it is: 8f93f567616. Current owner has owned the car since 4/29/89. I previously mentioned that it came with a new headliner that would need to be installed by winning bidder. He is also throwing in new front and rear window seals for free. He has another hood, trunk, and 2 more doors for an additional $600.

Car will be fully paid for in cash before the car can be picked up. Winning bidder will have 2 weeks to pick up car. After that $25/day storage will acquire.
