2005 Mini Cooper S Description
I am selling my 2005 Mini Copper S R53 Supercharge with Manual transmission (not the Harman/Kardom version). This car is my daily driver. I bought the car in June 2015, with 124,078. The instrument cluster was faulty and replaced with a used one. The odometer shows 96,909 but the cars has about 137,000 on it . The dealership that I bought it from did not update the usedinstrument cluster they put in the car. I've used 93 gas and synthetic oil only. The car runs great, there's no engine noise. The transmission shifts smooth through all six gears. The heater and A/c work great. The rims were plasti dip prayed. The radio has a 3.5mm AUX cable. The car has a Flash point exhaust system, everything else is stock. Sunroof and both windows work perfectly. Overall, the car runs great.
Known issues:every now and again a grunting noise can be heard when turning the steering wheel left or right while the car is parked. It doesn't happen when the car is moving. The ABS, traction control, and tire sensor lights are on because the right front speed sensor is broken, I got it fixed once and it broke again so I never bother to fix again.Clutch is about 40%.Brakes are about 50%.The antenna is broken, I ran the car through the car wash and I forgot to take it off.( check the pics).Driver seat is ripped.Only three tire are run flat tires. The left rear tire is a regular tire. The hood was not aligned properly when it was painted. You can notice this on the left side of the car (check pics).
Ladies and gentlemen, last winter I had to spend three hours trying digging the car out of the snow. As much as I enjoy driving this little machine, I don't want to go through that this winter. That's the reason why I want to get rid of it. So, if you are like me and don't like to shovel snow, do not bid on it, but if you don't mind a little workout in snowy days, then this little giant is for you. ALL IN ALL, MINIS ARE REALLY FUN TO DRIVE!!! TRUST ME, I OWN ONE!!!!
