2011 Mini Cooper S Black Description

Hello, we are selling our 2011 Cooper S Countryman with ALL4 all-wheel drive. This model is the compete sports model with all extras include. The Countryman includes a 121-horsepower, 1.6L 4-cylinder engine. The Countryman S gets a 181-hp turbocharged version of the 1.6L that's capable of getting to 60 in under 10 seconds.Yet still is very fuel-efficient: EPA ratings for the base Countryman are 27 mpg city, 35 highway. Our model has a 6-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel paddle-shifters is you prefer to drive it this way, great on smaller winding roads. The new ALL4 all-wheel drive system sends up to 100 percent of engine power to the front wheels during normal driving but can send up to 50 percent to the rear wheels whenever needed. This was one of the reasons we went with the All wheel Drive (ALL4) great driving to Tahoe on icy snow roads (no chains needed) and on the rare rainy days in the Bay Area.While the Countryman isn't meant for off-roading, an infinitely variable electro-mechanical clutch has the finesse and toughness to handle conditions varying from a steep, snowy driveway to a muddy field.
Inside, the Countryman is different than other MINI models, offering up a lot more comfort. I'm over 6ft and found the leg space and seat adjustment fine for my height. The seating position is about three inches higher than other MINI models. Distinctive available Lounge Leather piped leather seating with heated seats for the front. The back seats are buckets seats as well not a bench seat. The optional Center Rail system is a unique system that replaces the center console with a range of potential storage options--ranging from cupholders to storage bins or specialized cubbies for electronics.Has a CD player and also input for your phone or ipod/ipad with Harmon/Karmo speakers. All of this easily controlled from the center screen panel. Which I found very user friendly when driving and at same time switching form phone to radio or CD etc.
Along with two normal-sized back doors, the Countryman has respectable backseat space in two individual seats capable of sliding 5.1 inches fore and aft as well as tilt or fold at an angle to obtain up to 41.3 cubic feet of cargo space. Up top, there's also a roof-rail system. We brought the mini storage top which will be included in sale of this car - great for extra on trips to the beach to surf or road trips.
In what is a hallmark of the MINI brand, the Countryman promises a very nimble driving feel and plenty of agility, making it more fun to drive on a curvy road compared to other small crossovers. With MacPherson struts in front and a multi-link setup in back, the Countryman hugs the road and stays controlled while also having a reasonably settled ride. The electric-assisted power steering system varies effort based on speed, allowing a light feel while parking or a more secure feel at high speed.

The navigation screen is built right into the central speedometer and map updates for the navigation system can easily be performed through the USB input.
When buying this Mini we took a lot into consideration. Its great in the city for parking and MPG and withthe All wheel Drive (ALL4) its great for those road trips to Tahoe, Yosemite etc. With the extra cargo on top this helps carry snowboards, wetsuits, camping gear etc. Probably the most important aspect was the safety this car offers. We have a younger child and this car has great road handling, braking and safety features in case of an accident - side impact, air bags for front seat driver and passenger.The Car is well built.
The original warranty ended but we extended it and also have warranty on the run-flat sports tires. Wehave it regularly serviced by Mini/BMW San Francisco.
