2003 Mini Cooper S Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Mini Cooper S with just 136k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Mini Cooper to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking Mini. It is finished in Liquid Yellow over black leather with matching tinted wheels and wheels, which is a nice color combination. The yellow finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Mini, the only bad thing I can really point out is a few tiny, tiny rust bubbles under the left tail light...but nothing even close to major. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The xenon HID headlights light up the road brightly in front of you. The factory alloy wheels have been upgraded with a nice looking set of aftermarket wheels that look really good. This Mini Cooper S has been upgraded with a fully adjustable suspension, which gives this Mini an aggressive stance. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this Mini to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door panels are clean and tight. This Mini Cooper comes with a full set of factory rubber mats. The carpets show well throughout the interior, too. The dash and headliner are clean. The leather seats are clean and show almost no wear. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and appears to be working properly. The stereo sounds good and has been upgraded with an added subwoofer tucked into the side of the cargo area. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It's too cold to tell whether or not the air conditioner is working effectively but I can tell you that the heater works properly. The original owners books are included, too. Mechanically, this Mini Cooper S appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.6L Supercharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The upgraded suspension feels tight and well sorted. This Mini handles great. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. This Mini also appears to have a few modest performance modifications, too. Just a quick look shows a Borla exhaust, carbon fiber cold air intake and an intercooler baffle for increased airflow through the intercooler. The only thing I noticed that you'll probably want to take care of at some point in the not too distant future is replacing the serpentine belt. It squeals a little bit here and there...nothing horrible, but you can hear it occasionally. Other than an airbag light that stays on, there have been no idiot lights on. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the six speed manual transmission are smooth and precise, as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This Mini Cooper S has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of October, 2017. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
