1970 Mini Classic Mini Description

Titled as a 1970 Mini Cooper. This is a RUNNING and ROLLING car! Interior has been removed for a new interior and interior/exterior painting, new glass and headliner, etc. I have everything to complete, including headliner and bows, Monte Carlo door, quarter and rear shelf panels. Carpet and underlayment. Everything for the interior is NEW. There is a new walnut wood dash installed. NEW bucket seats and new Monte Carlo rear seat. New glass windshield. The previous owners spent a TON of money on some nice upgrades. All the work for the previous owners as well as some work for me, done by Jeremy Thorpe at JetMotors Mini in Happey Valley, OR. JM is the go-to place for classic Minis. Jeremy would be glad to tell you all about the car. Everything is there to complete, it just needs a paint job. New 10" Yokohama tires on new Revolution. A nice retro touch is the retro classic Mini rear tail lights as in a MK1 or II. Too much to try to list in a description. An easy-to-finish project that will have you in a classic Mini Cooper that will be practically new. This is a solid, rust-free car. Left hand drive, originally from Germany.

VIN: XA2S1NO13574. Pic shows one of the two Corbeau bucket seats. One pic shows the new rear seat assembly, back and bottom. I'll try to add a short video of the car running. The gray on the both is where the body shop removed the Sportspack arches that were in it. They replaced the metal on the front wings that was removed for the 14" tires. They did a great job and I think it looks stunning going back k to the original 10 inches. Any questions please ask. Lots of new stuff to go on the car. I took everything off or out of the car for painting that I possibly could save for the windshield. The gray on the rear is from the body guy welding the panels for the early type tail lights. You won't be shopping around to but parts to complete this because I already did! That is unless you decide you want something different. I even have a complete set of Brittax racing graphics. Google Brittax Mini and you'll see what this car could look like in a short while.

Trying to add to the description to give the buyer as good an idea as possible about the cars condition. Might be repeating myself as I've had several questions from potential buyers. The car had 13" tires on it when I bought it and wide, Sportspack arches that were for some reason Bondoed in. Eventually the Bondo cracked as well as the arches themselves so I removed all that and found a solid body underneath. The only gray you see is where the body guy welded in the panels for the early taillights, the rear arch holes for the Sportspack arches, the door mirrors and where the metal was replaced on the front wings that was removed for the wide tires. Body guy did a great job. I wanted to leave the car in a driving state until the painting began. I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere and have been driving it regularly. No mechanical issues that I can think of. If you have the facilities and know how to paint then you will be way ahead of paying someone to do the prep work and paint.

New: both bumpers, rear tail lights, battery, windshield, headlight buckets and stone guards, front directionals and side repeaters, windshield and rear glass trim and gaskets, new clutch and brake master cylinders with slave(installed), GAZ shocks (installed), headliner and bows, Dynamat sound deadener on floo, front seatbelts/shoulder harnesses, more stuff I can't think of right now. I've already listed most of it. I have receipts from JetMotors for all the work they did for the previous owner as well as myself. New grill, bonnet hinges, boot hinges, more. This car gets noticed and brings smiles wherever it goes!
