The original 4-door high-performance sports car, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is a legend in the automotive industry. Now, after more than a decade in the North American market, Mitsubishi will stop selling the iconic sedan. To send off the Lancer Evolution in style, Mitsubishi Motors is offering a limited-production, Final Edition model; only 1,600 numbered Final Edition models will be produced. The vehicle being auctioned here is the very last Lancer Evolution produced for North America with number plaque US1600. All of the proceeds from the auction will be split to benefit Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino Counties and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County (each receiving 50% of the funds).

Already known for its pulse-pounding performance, the Lancer Evolution Final Edition increases horsepower to 303 and torque to 305 lb-ft. Performance is further added by use of lightweight two-piece Brembo® brake rotors up front, accompanied by Bilstein® shock absorbers and Eibach® springs at all four corners. As with all 2015 Lancer Evolutions, the Final Edition features Mitsubishi's Super All Wheel control.

PAYMENT
A deposit in the amount of $5000 is due within (48) hours of the auction close with full payment required within (3) days of the auction close. Deposit accepted via PayPal to Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino. Payment to be made via U.S. based bank cashier’s check, credit card or a bank wire transfer into the Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino. No PayPal payment will be accepted. As a security measure only, all bidders must have a PayPal account to help establish their identity. Failure to deliver payment within the designated time will result in default of the bid and we may select the next highest bidder. The winning bidder is required to follow state requirements for tax, title and transfer. Those fees will be assessed at the time of pickup and would be the same as buying this vehicle new from a local car dealership.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE WINNING BIDDER
The winning bidder shall be responsible for all taxes, license, title and registration fees and other costs associated with owning a vehicle, including a standard waiver and release of liability. The winning bidder shall bear all risk of loss or damage to the vehicle after the title has been transferred. The winning bidder must either, at the winner's election, personally retrieve the vehicle Cypress, CA (90630) or pay for the cost of shipping the vehicle within 15 business days of close of auction. Winner must present a State issued valid driver’s license and evidence of legally required insurance.
Upon paying for the vehicle, Title shall be transferred from the current owner of the vehicle to the winning bidder. Payment and Title transfer may take up to a few weeks after payment has been made. The vehicle is sold as new and includes Mitsubishi's warranties including: 3-year/36,000 mile new vehicle limited warranty, 5-year/60,000 mile powertrain limited warranty, 7-year/100,000 mile anti-corrosion perforation limited warranty, 5-year/unlimited mile roadside assistance. There are no warranties that extend beyond the description on the face hereof. The winning bidder understands that the currently titled vehicle owner does not make any representations, warranties, covenants or agreements with regard to the vehicle. The winner bidder waives all claims against Mitsubishi Motors North America with regard to the vehicle, including, without limitation, any claims for injury, breach of contract and/or any damages.
SHIPPING
If the winner bidder elects to have the vehicle shipped in lieu of personally retrieving the vehicle, shipping costs are the responsibility of the winning bidder. Seller will work with the winner to arrange secure vehicle shipping via a vehicle transport company. Shipping costs could vary greatly depending on final destination and method of transport (covered, open, etc.). Shipping costs are estimated at $800 - $2500 to continental United States destinations.
