1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX Description

Up for sale is my 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX with 69k miles, 5 speed, All Wheel Drive, Turbo. The GSX is the top of the line Eclipse model that many consider to be the best ever built. They are becoming extremely hard to find, especially with low miles, in good shape, with no rust. The car has a relatively fresh top end rebuild, but is suffering from crankwalk (extremely common in 7 bolt DSMs) and needs the bottom half of the engine swapped out. It still runs, however theengineis knocking.The parts list on the car is very lengthy with most everything being high-end equipment.
* Engine and TransmissionExtras - ARP studs, 650cc injectors, T3/T4 turbocharger, Greddy blow off valve, front mount intercooler, aluminum radiator,Stage 2 clutch and flywheel with under 500 miles on them, Duralast battery (6 months old)
* Electronic Extras - Apexi Street Tune controller, HKS turbo timer, Triple gauge pod with AEM/Autometer boost;air/fuel; and voltage gauges
* Magnaflow Performance exhaust
* Aftermarket Wheels with Hankook Ventus HRII tires (plenty of tread-life left)
* Tokico Struts on the front and rear
* Front and rear disc brakes with cross drilled/slotted rotors on the front
* Freshly recovered headliner by professional upholstery shop
* I'm also including the following HARD TO FIND restoration parts: NEW OEM driver and passenger side taillight housings, NEW OEM reverse light housings, NEW OEM gauge cluster lens, NEW OEM fuse box cover, NEW OEM oil dipstick, NEW OEM fuel cap, NEW OEM passenger side wiper arm, NEW driver side wiper arm, NEW Monroe Maxx Lift rear hatch struts for the left and right sides, NEW Depo smoked front marker lights, used center console bezel in good condition, used center console armrest in good condition, Chilton Repair Manual, and How To Build Max Performance 4g63t Engines book...

All in all, the car is in good shape with a lot of nice parts, but just needs a little attention. The engine needs work,it needs a radio installed, the car needs some body work and a fresh coat of paint, otherwise its ready to roll. This car iscapable of producing 400hp for less than $6k if you have the time. As I mentioned earlier these cars are becoming extremely difficult to locate and it will continue to go up in value. Clean title in hand.
