For Sale - 1998 Mitsubishi Montero Sport LS 4x4
One of a kind and a true hard to find Montero Sport LS. I am the 4th owner of this amazing vehicle and must have personally inspected over 20 Mistubishi Monteros before purchasing this one.
Ownership History:
I purchased the truck recently and had the new speakers and CD player done. The paint is 100% original (bit of clear peel on the hood) and the SUV is very clean for its age inside and out.
The previous owner replaced the tires with brand new Firestone All Terrain, performed alignments. All belts were replaced in the last 1,000 miles, including the timing, as were all the fluids.
Condition:
You will not find a better 1998 Montero Sport anywhere. No rips on any of the interior, no odors, all lights work, all windows work, all of the gadgets work. Low mileage!
Windshield wipers, radio, MP3/CD player, turn signals, high-beams, cruise, all work.
Engine has plenty of power, transmission shifts smooth, 4x4 works perfect. Dashboard controls, instrument panels, A/C work, and in perfect condition. Original tools and jack are present.
No leaks from engine compartment, no oil or grease accumulated near gaskets, no evidence of oil coming out of the differential either.
Even though this is a 4x4 I never did any off-roading, and the condition of the undercarriage is evidence that this had been a adult owned, city driven car as well.
Tires have roughly 10k on them, all preventative maintenance performed in the past 100 miles (brake fluid and oil).
On the flip-side, the hood has a ding and some of the clear coat has pealed off. The fender flares (silver) show signs of its age and has faded paint (mostly on the front side). I took some pictures however, its hard to tell unless you are really close an in person. The cup holder is broken, the antenna is missing (I have a new one I'll throw in) and the driver-side window whistles (wind noise) above 65mph. The plastic the seat belt recepticals from the back seat are cracked. After the brake fluid was flushed the light turned on due to a sticky sensor in the master cylinder.
Aside from the minor cosmetic items, this is a solid truck, ready for more road trips or daily driving around town.
