1997 Nissan Other Pickups XE Description

Up for bids is a '97 Nissan XE 2 WD pickup with 99,576 miles. (mileage will go up some due to occasional driving) Vehicle has a 5 speed manual transmission. It is equipped with power steering and brakes, cruise control, cold a.c., and am/fm cassette player, bed liner and sliding rear window. Factory Nissan alloy wheels. New battery, tires, fuel injectors and recent state inspection. (May '16) It has a newer left front brake caliper, newer muffler and rear shocks. The dashboard is in good shape with no cracks. It has surface rust underneath but only one hole that I can detect. It is up near the front left bed. (see pic) The spare tire is original and has seen lots of weather being underneath the truck. I'd recommend replacing both spare tire and wheel. Also, the headliner is sagging and needs replaced. There is a small hole on the driver's side seat and after checking the ashtray it doesn't appear the vehicle was ever smoked in. Carpet is very clean on both sides and includes the original Nissan mats. Previous owner had an extra set of rubber mats on top of the original mats. There is a large dent on the passenger side bed to the left of the gasoline door, deep scratches on the tailgate and there are some scratches and smaller dents here and there. The chrome bumpers have some rusting and there is a small ding just above the front license area of the front bumper. (see pics) Overall a good solid Nissan truck for its age. Truck is being sold "as is, where is with no implied warranty". FYI: The AUTOCHECK VEHICLE HISTORY REPORT says "1 owner" but I bought the vehicle in mid - October from a charity auction. So I guess the donor of the truck was the original owner. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping. Deposit of $500.00 within 24 hrs. of auction close.
