2009 Nissan Altima 2.5S Description

2009 Nissan Altima 2.5S with close to 140,000 miles. 2nd owner, since the end of 2009. CARFAX available.

The car starts, runs and drives perfectly. It needs nothing and has been maintained well. Although there is no warranty (express or implied), I believe this car has at least another 100,000 low-maintenance miles left on the clock.

THE GOOD (it's solid and reliable)

- All-new CVT transmission and transaxle a couple of years ago, at about 120,000 miles. If you know these cars, you know the original CVTs had some trouble. The CVT on this one was fully replaced under extended warranty by the Nissan dealer. The new tranny has been working perfectly over the last 20,000 miles.

- Newer Michelin Defender tires on all 4 corners, with plenty of life left.

- Aftermarket Voxx alloy wheels (the original steels are available with winter tires, see below)

- Professional tint all the way around the car.

- Hand waxed at least once a year.

- Regularly maintained. Just had a fresh oil change and air filter.

- Good fuel economy. I'm averaging 25 mpg in town, 30+ highway.

THE BAD (all cosmetic)

- There is a crinkle on the driver's side front bumper from a parking lot mishap years ago (see pictures). I had it professionally painted to avoid any rust and improve the look of the car, but the dent is still there.

- There are some scratches and scuffs on the rear bumper. Again, this has been professionally painted but it is not perfect (see pictures).

- Various little scratches and dents as you would expect for a car of this age and mileage. Nothing you would notice from 5 feet away, but if you're particular like I am, you will get to know where they all are.

- Small stain on the passenger seat (see pictures). It can probably be cleaned up. The seats and interior are very clean overall.

WINTER WHEELS AND TIRES ARE ALSO AVAILABLE - $500

- Michelin X-Ice winter tires mounted to the original steel wheels. Some wear, but at least 2-3 good seasons left in them.

- TPMS sensors are installed on the wheels.

- The original hubcaps are also included.

- Lifetime wheel swaps available from Discount Tire.

- I will sell the set of 4 for $500. This setup would cost about $1500 new.

- These will also be available separately, so they may sell before the car does.
