2006 Nissan 350Z Base Coupe 2-Door Description

This collectors’ car was purchased by New Horizons Principal Investigator Alan Stern in 2006, the year New Horizons was launched. The red, manual transmission 350Z is the only car Stern drove during the New Horizons mission. Stern has been the only owner of the car. It has very low miles for its age. In fact, it’s got almost 10 times fewer miles than New Horizons clocked on its first day of flight. The car was independently appraised on 11/06/16 at a value of $12,033. The car has a few small rock chips in the hood; otherwise in excellent condition.

Alan Stern will meet the new owner for dinner in 2017, at both parties’ convenience. Proceeds from the sale will support astronomical discovery and education at Lowell Observatory. This car is currently located at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona. The new owner will need to pick up the car or pay for shipping to their location.
