2005 Nissan Maxima SL Description

Description
Check it out - a shiny, comfortable, luxury 2005 Nissan Maxima SL that looks like a beast with black leather seating, most all options (like heated seats, heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, etc.), and a V6 engine to boot! I'm selling it as I had to replace it with an SUV, but it has a smooth, comfortable ride. And I'm setting up the auction with No Reserve so you have a chance to get it for lesser than blue book value! Please see below for more photos.
Minor Issues
  • Small crack in the windshield on passenger side. Here's the pic of it.
  • Shift slipping that's common in 2004-2008 Maxima over 100k miles. To be clear, there are no error codes or check engine signs. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens usually during winter. It's where gear "slips" for a second going from 2nd to 3rd gear. It's usually ignored as it doesn't affect the overall ride and driving experience, but if you DO want to fix it and are mechanically inclined, there's a link (http://maxima.org/forums/6th-generation-maxima-2004-2008/597683-re5f22a-transmission-fix-4.html#post7522453) that details what parts are needed and how it can be fixed. The link is from a post in 2006 and it shows estimated cost of $1300 at that time, but I believe now 10 years later the parts are bound to be even cheaper!
  • After posting this on Ebay, I noticed it's Experian report shows there was some sort of "major damage", but I assume it's from the original owner and rest assured that there are absolutely no signs of it no has there ever been any signs of it for as long as I've owned it. Please check the photos. Potential buyers are more than welcome to come and inspect it to verify.
