2004 350Z
2004 Nissan 350Z Description
Fast & Furious millennial warriors:
Tastefully done, low miles, garage-kept, accident-free, never seen rain/snow. I bought this car for $27k in 2004 (base model) and put another $50k into it. As any car like this, I'll never get my money out of it and did it knowing that and not caring, but I'm selling, regardless, because I'm middle-aged now and just don't need/want it anymore as my interests have wandered elsewhere - all it does now is take room up in my garage. Haven't put more than 50 miles/year on it the last 7 years.
1). 40,000 miles2). Stillen Stage 4 intercooled supercharger (6-7 psi max.)3). Nismo headers4). Nismo limited slip differential (took out of car, but comes with sale - original rear in place now)5). 50hp nitrous kit, can re-jet if you care to, but wouldn't go higher than 75hp.6). High-end custom JL Audio system with dynamat installed everywhere in interior7). Cobra racing seats (manual, no power) to match custom interior8). Shift kit with Nismo titanium shift knob9). StopTech big-brake kits (all the way around), stainless lines.10). 20" PIAA wheels (tires in front have about 5k left, tires in rear are new)11). Viper alarm12). Power doors, window, mirrors13). Airbags and anti-lock brakes14). Stillen stainless steel exhaust (from converters back, not including converters) - passed emissions with no problems 6 months ago....easy.15). Clutch kit and flywheel - want to say it's Fidanza, but can't swear to that. If it's that important to you, I can dig thru my receipts to see if I can find it.16). You also get all the original equipment taken out of the vehicle as the mods. were completed, except the hood, wheels, and seats - I got rid of those a long time ago because they took too much room up and what would I have done with them anyway...17). no suspension work - the car handles well-enough without it...and if it doesn't do it for you, then you have a project to get to.
All of the mods. were done by professionals that specialized in this type of work, not me...so you don't need to worry if some Driveway Dan did it right or not....the majority of the mods, including the supercharger, were done when the car was at 25k miles.
The only known issues with the vehicle are:
1). The Stillen supercharger drive pulley assembly and, specifically, the idler pulley - everything works fine, but the pulley squeals at start-up - it goes away after it warms up. You can adjust it (I have) and it goes away completely (even at start-up) for 500 miles or so, but then it's back - it's like herpes. Maybe you can figure it out - frankly I have no interest in doing so. Honestly, it's simply not the best-engineered product Stillen put out (are there any good ones?) and the advertised boost of 10 psi is never, ever seen - more like 6-7 psi. The fuel management profiles could also use a proper tuning. I'm really pricing the car with the idea that whoever buys it will just yank that p.o.s. Stillen unit out and put a proper twin-turbo in...my thoughts at least.
2). The power mirror on the passenger side doesn't go up/down...but it does go left/right.
3). The custom blue lit interior dash lights flicker once and a while...loose connection obviously and would be something that you would need to repair because, quite honestly, it's irritating and you probably need to see your gauges at night....
Otherwise, this vehicle looks and runs beautifully, it corners like it's on railroad tracks, and has plenty of power throughout all rpm ranges which allowed me to run low, very low, 12 second quarter-miles. The interior looks like the day I picked it up at the Nissan dealer. If you're seriously interested, then I can send more pictures and even a video of the car running if you'd like - you can even arrange to come see it if you want - please don't be one of those people that ask me to do that if you're not serious. Then, if you're still interested, bid, if you're a dreamer, then don't...we've all been there.
I'm listing the car at a starting price of $16k - that's also the reserve - keep in mind that a mint 2004 350Z like this one blue-books for about $12k, so you would think, or at least hope, that this one is worth at least $16k...know what I mean? If you win the auction, then send me 10% down (PayPal only) within 24 hours so I know you're for-real - this would be non-refundable because if you back-out after that, well, you know why....You can bring the rest of the money (cashier's check or cash only) when you pick the car up. If you want to pay to have it shipped, then all arrangements are your responsibility. The care is also being advertised locally, so I reserve the right to cancel the auction in the event it sells.
Good Luck!
