PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle was involved in hurricane Mathew. It was undamaged and comes with documentation supporting that fact. However, because an insurance company paid a claim on the vehicle, the title will have a notation on it that says “WATER DAMAGED” OR “REBUILT WATER DAMAGED.” This notation does not necessarily mean that the vehicle actually ever had water damage or that the vehicle was rebuilt. It means that the insurance company paid a claim on the vehicle because the vehicle owner told the insurance company that it had been involved in a flood. That could be something as simple as driving through standing water, or as serious as being completely submerged. A car that was completely submerged should never see the road again but a car that had been driven through standing water no deeper than the rocker panels is most likely undamaged would be an excellent opportunity to get a great deal on a car. These are the cars that I buy and they aren’t easy to find. It requires me to inspect thousands of cars looking for the telltale signs of water intrusion. I remove trim panels, pull up carpeting, and inspect oil samples. Fewer than 2% of the cars I inspect meet the standards I’ve set for purchase. The other 98% should never see the road again. After purchase, my technicians thoroughly go through every system of the vehicle to verify the findings of my pre-purchase inspection. Any vehicle that doesn’t pass the scrutiny of my technicians is sold as parts through my used auto parts store. This vehicle comes with a 90 day limited warranty covering the engine, transmission, differential assembly and all electrical systems.
