2003 Nissan Maxima SE Sedan 4-Door 3.5L
2003 Nissan Maxima Description
2003 NISSAN MAXIMA SE
I am selling a 2003 Maxima with a reconstructed title. I purchased the vehicle in 2009 from a dealer in NH that specializes in selling cars with reconstructed titles. I have the title in hand. I am selling the car as it is time to move on, this is a good car for someone who wants to put in the time and/or money to get it running well again. Please give reasonable offers, I am not giving away the car. Recommend it to be towed away but up to buyer.
Exterior is in very good condition and was repainted 3 years ago by a local body shop. Currently the car will not hold a charge and I have to jump it every time I drive it. It has a new battery so may be an issue with the alternator or car not being able to power the after market HID headlights, but I am not a mechanic.
The check engine light is on and I do not know why nor do I have the codes butevery timethe car is jumped it starts fine.
The car does not drive very smooth and makes sounds when turning. I do not know the reason for this but I was driving it at highway speeds until I encountered the issue with the car not staying charged.
Some major work I have done on the car:
Installed front lower radiator support via custom weld in 2011 ($1,800), installed new tie rods 5,000 miles ago at a local mechanic, installed remote starter with 2 way remote (remote tells you if carreceivedsignal for $480), flex pipe replaced 2 years ago, wheel bearings replaced about 3 years ago, tires replaced at 99,500, knock sensor replaced in 2015. Other parts replaced as well but these are the major ones I wanted to note.
