Real 1970 Oldsmobile 442, 455CI, Turbo 400.3:23 open differential, Matador red, Pearl interior and 72,000 original miles. The car went a frame on restoration in 2003.The engine and transmission were rebuilt to original specifications, pained the original color, new vinyl top, re-chromed bumpers all new weather stripping and seal plates, carpet, headliner, seats reupholstered. The glass, dash and door panels are original.It has been pampered and always kept in a garage under a custom cover.Some bolt on performance parts were added to improve cruise in appeal, performance, and handling.
SUSPENSION: Global West tubular front upper and lower A arms and rear lower control arms with Del-A-Lum bushings, ball joints, Bilstein shocks, Hotchkis coil springs and stabilizer bars. Rebuilt power steering pump.Rebuilt steering gear to 12:1 close ratio and all new Moog steering linkage, New Stalgia SSI 15x7 front an15x8 rear SSI rims.
ENGINE: Edelbrock 2151 performer intake, MondelloCryogenically Frozen Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum cylinder heads and ARP head bolt kit, Mondello Cryogenically frozen comp cams steel roller tip rockers, 5/16” studs and polylocks, 5/16” hardened pushrods and guide plates, Modello TR-499 double roller timing chain, Modello MPV 1-2 camshaft, harmonic balancer, Mondello HP mechanical fuel pump, aluminum water pump and power steering pulleys, Mondello 7110-1 torque convertor, rebuilt transmission with heavy duty parts, Hooker long tube ceramic coated headers, Flowmaster 2.5” mandel bent exhaust with 50 series mufflers, Pertronix electronic distributor and wires, Be-Cool aluminum radiator.
A Rally Pack (tic-tok-tack) with wiring harness in the dash has been added. The air compressor is new and the A/C gets cold. I have the build sheet and the original owners manual along with documentation when this vehicle was restored.
