1998 Oldsmobile Bravada Base Sport Utility 4-Door Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.

Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1998 Oldsmobile Bravada. The Oldsmobile Bravada is an upscale version of the rugged and reliable Chevy Blazer. I would rate the exterior of this Bravada to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. She is finished in a nice, dark red over black leather interior. The finish shows a little age but still looks good and is smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about on the exterior of this Bravada. The worst I can say about the exterior is that the lower bumper trim is cracked on the left side. All of the body cladding is present and shows well. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in a matching set of rubber with deep tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.

I would also rate the interior of this Bravada to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door panels are clean and tight. The wood trim throughout the interior is unique to the Bravada and really give the truck a warm feel throughout. The carpets show well for their age and are not excessively worn. A full set of floor mats is included. The dash and headliner are clean. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors work properly. The glass in the right outside mirror is cracked. Both front seats are heated. The leather seats are soft and supple, not brittle and hard. The seats show almost no wear and are very comfortable. The audio system is the original CD sound, which powers up properly and sounds good. Climate control is fully automatic and also appears to be working properly. It's a little too cold to tell if the a/c is working properly, but the heater works great. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully.

Mechanically, this Olds appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.3L Vortec V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older truck. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The enigne keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. There have beenno idiot lights on during my road test. The engine feels strong and makes plenty of power. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. The Smart Trak AWD system is tested and working properly. These are great trucks...I've owned several personally and sold more than I could count. With a Bravada, you get everything good about a Blazer but with a much nicer interior and AWD in place of the troublesome push button 4WD system in the Chevy and GMC version. This Bravada is a fresh new car trade and has a current PA safety inspection good through the end of December, 2017. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
