1960 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Description

1960 Oldsmobile Super 88 Two Door Hardtop. It is original white with red interior. This car was aquired by my brother and I Two years ago from the original owners estate in Southern Indiana. It is complete and original. This car runs, drives and stops on its own, currently we have it running on a one gallon can because we didn't want to put gas in the tank due to how long this car sat. It was last licenced and registered in 1991. The car is optioned with power steering and brakes. The 394 is original and complete, including the original carburetor and air cleaner. The wiring, lights, charging system, interior lights all work. Even the trunk light works! This car has all its trim and chrome. The doors and hinges all open and close as they should with no sag in the hinges. The windows operate up and down, they are a little stiff, but nothing is broken or missing. The vent windows operate smooth. The body has some rust through, all lower and outside, nothing structural. The worst seems to be the drivers side rocker and rear outer wheelhouse. Both front fenders have holes in the bottoms, typical of cars from the Midwest. Trunk floor is solid under the mat, there is rust through in the spare tire well. The interior is complete, but needs redone, seat springs are solid and all the trim is there. Headliner needs replaced, as does the sun visors.
