This is a gorgeous car folks! I have done a lot of business w/ Paul Sr. through the years and I have never acquired anything but top-shelf cars from him. This spectacular ‘67 442 Ragtop is no exception! Finished in its factory correct (Code Y) Saffron Yellow wrapped around a beautiful Pale Yellow bucket-seat interior w/ a flawless White Vinyl Power Top, this outstanding 442 Convertible was the recipient of a no-expense spared restoration of the highest order and is pristine throughout! The original 100% rust-free sheet metal is laser straight all the way around and the Saffron yellow paint is brilliant w/ a deep lustrous shine. This elegant color combo is absolutely stunning and truly has to be seen in person to appreciate how amazing it looks. All of the chrome & bright work is show quality throughout. The White Vinyl Power Top is ‘As New’ and is simply flawless w/ perfect fit & finish. She sits on original 14” Super Stock I wheels wrapped w/ new Firestone F70-14 Redline tires. A lot of money & countless man hours went into restoring this gorgeous example of Oldsmobile’s quintessential muscle car.
When you slide into the gorgeous Pale Yellow interior, you will swear that it is 1967 all over again! The bucket seats, console, rear bench seat, door panels, kick panels, etc. are all in mint condition, and all of the factory original gauges work perfectly. All lights, blinkers, radio, lighter, etc. are also in perfect working order. The Power Top motor is brand new and functions as such, going up or down quickly & precisely. Open the hood and nestled inside the nicely detailed engine bay you will find an original 400/350hp High-Compression motor dressed in all correct colors linked to an original Muncie M20 4-Speed manual transmission, which feeds power to the original 10-Bolt rear axle w/ 3.42 gear ratio. This car fires up w/ a flick of the wrist, settling into a nice smooth idle. When you get her out on the road you will be shocked by the power & torque that this car has! She pulls hard through all four gears and will send your butt back in the seat when you apply your right foot firmly to the floor. For being a larger car, I was amazed at how quick & how fast she is, which makes it an absolute blast to drive! The Power Steering & Power Brakes make driving around town effortless, and when you get her out on the freeway you will never want to come back home. This ’67 442 Ragtop comes with piles of original documentation including the original owner’s manual, original owner protection plan booklet, original service manual, several copies of original titles, original registration forms & original bills of sale, original 1967 442 magazine ads, and receipts of all types (see photos).
