For sale in our Chicago showroom is a very fun 1979 Triumph Spitfire 1500. The Spitfire had a successful run but was ultimately discontinued in 1980 breaking the hearts of many roadster enthusiasts.
This survivor has clocked just 37,064 miles from new and is believed to be original. This solid driver has just enough bumps and bruises to attest to its originality and is mechanically very solid. In addition to having that cool 1970's sports car look this one is tremendous fun to drive and easily shifts gears. This will make a bad driver good and a good driver even better.
In addition to the convertible soft top this car also comes available with a hard top and an AM/FM radio with cassette player, seat belts, radial tires and wood grain dash. The 1,493cc inline 4 cylinder was known for its simplicity and ruggedness which is why so many of these are still found in driving condition. This is the perfect weekend summer cruiser for those that appreciate the imports and don't mine a little sun and wind in your hair.
