This is a real, all steel, no patch panel 1952 MGTD that has been transformed into one of the best built hat rods you are likely to see, the pictures tell the story; 355 SBC aluminum heads, Muncie 4speed, 9" Ford rear, Mustang 11 front, four bar coil over rear, disc and drum, extra cooling system, chopped top, real roll bar, Cobra seats, extra full hood, modified Corvette wheels, 2 1/2 inch exhaust, SW gauges with speed currently not functioning, needs included speed generator installed. Sharp eyes will spot the auxiliary cooling system mounted above the driveshaft. This system has its' own relay controlled fan and use is controlled by the operator also, not the car for 90 degree traffic. This machine starts, stops, runs and handles very well with the much more modern suspension system installed by the builder. With the extra cross members including the built in driveshaft loop the chassis is much more rigid than original and hence there is little to no cowl shake. Along with the mentioned extra hood and speed generator there are also a set of internal baffles for the exhaust if one should want to quiet it down, it is a little loud. The car has a legit NYS transferable registration/title in my name and is a real 1952 MGTD, not a fiberglass replica which some have surmised. There are no fiberglass parts on this car. As always and especially in this case there will be no test pilots. This is not a car for someone with no high performance auto experience, it is a handful. Reserve has been lowered and we will look at interesting swaps up, down or sideways. Vintage cars, bikes, aircraft and race cars preferred.
