1976 MG MGB Description

Oh Behave! This car is definitely a head turner!!
Super Fun 2 door 1976 MGB Roadster. Runs Great! Rear wheel drive, manual 4 speed. Modified with chrome bumpers and bullet side mirrors. Very good interior with newer carpet kit. Good body w/ no visible rust. NO tears on seats. Tan convertible top is in very good condition. Includes black tonneau cover which is also in very good condition.
Over $900 in service work done in 7/16 & 8/16 (receipts available) including but not limited to: new slave cylinder, new fuel pump, battery, new clutch master, repaired fuse panel, repaired several wires in wiring column, new hood release lever.
Tires are newer (purchased several years ago, but have less than 100 miles on them!)
Mileage is not exact.
ALWAYS STORED IN A CLEAN, DRY GARAGE!!!
This was my late husband's "baby" and I've tried to maintain it properly. However, I'm not enjoying it as much as it really should be enjoyed by a MGB or British car enthusiast and am parting with it with a very heavy heart.
I am NOT a mechanic! I've had all service work done by a mechanic knowledeable in MGs. This is a 40 year old car and is British. As any MGB enthusiast knows, MGs have their quirks despite being so lovable. I am selling this "As Is" with no warranties expressed or implied. I have disclosed as much information about the condition of this car that I am aware of and any inspections MUST be completed 24 hours prior to the end of Auction.
Issues that I am aware of currently:

• the turn signal lever/handle is in down position, meaning it appears you're always turning left. I've been using a piece of paper to keep lever in "middle" position to avoid this.
• there is no carpet lining in trunk.
• my mechanic said it could use a new radiator.
• the speedometer is not working; the RPM, oil, gas and temperature gauges work.
