1963 Studebaker Daytona Wagonaire: R1 289hp is one of the performance packages available for 1963. The restoration included rebuilding the engine and all other components of the drive train. The car was purchased from Orange County, CA in 2011, the restoration completed in 2012 and 2013. It was shown at national convention in Dover 2014. The undercarriage and engine compartment were as beautifully restored as the exterior. Using mostly NOS parts, the correct hubcaps and reproduction tires add the authentic look to this restoration.
There are photos of the car prior to restoration, receipts and communications. We are listing this for a friend and have limited information as to where or who did some of the restorations. It's a beautiful car, runs and drives well.
