1956 Replica/Kit Makes Speedster Description

This replica Porsche 356 Speedster was built in 1991. It is a FiberFab International body. The drivetrain is a 1600cc Volkswagen bug engine with a single carb and a 4 speed manual transmission and dual exhaust with headers. This car is incredibly fun to drive and incredibly inexpensive to own. Engine is nearly bulletproof, the insurance (even in Miami) is less than $400 per year and the brakes are drum brakes.
The car is far from perfect, with minor chips and some crazing/cracking on the nose, as well as slight fading of the paint. I liked the patina and that is the reason I chose this car over several others. The interior is immaculate and you will probably catch yourself staring at it in your garage. It looks exactly like the original, it sounds like one too. Great to take to car shows, weekend drives and you will catch yourself volunteering to go to the grocery store just for a chance to drive it.
The car is also very, very roomy. I am 5'11" and about 230lbs and I have room to spare.
The only reason I am selling it is to concentrate on racing. These cars have gone up greatly in value and are now selling between $25k in poor condition to the mid $30k in perfect condition. This car needs nothing and will be a great addition.
