1979 International Harvester Scout traveler Description

84,700 original miles. 345 CI V8, Auto Transmission, Original AC and Cruise control. 4 WD with auto-locking hubs. All original with jockey box sticker showing factory options . Incudes original owner's manual. Bucket eats and fold-down rear seat. Brown and white. Receiver hitch, fiberglass removable top.....has never been removed. Last used on a daily basis in 2008 and has been idle since (started and drove every few months since then). Runs and drives well. New brakes from Les Schwab, new radiator and new exhaust from Meineke at around 82,000 miles. with a little tlc this scout could very well be a daily driver again. I am the third owner, my grandpa was the second. he bought it with just a few thousand miles. alignment is good, brakes are good, shifts smooth. if you need or want more info/pics, please message me here and ill respond asap.

description from video - Definitely needs a valve adjustment. The major rattle you hear in the video is the drivers side wing window. Runs good and drives good for its age, and the fact it's been sitting unused the last few years. Good alignment. Good brakes. Shifts smooth. 345 v8, auto transmission.
