1980 MGB Special Edition

1980 MG MGB Description

Bought this back in the spring from an 81 year old who bought it in 1982. Pretty sure it's original "SE"paint. "SE" wheels. Dash was cut to add cover and not completed. Top is "ok". Always garaged till he moved into Senior Center 2 years ago. The tail hung out of the carport and got tree poopoo on it, should come off with elbow grease. Good solid car that needs tinkering withfrom mostly sitting last few years. Some lights not working but no evidence of someone screwing up wiring. I pulled 2 different bulbs, cleaned the contacts and they worked fine. Carpet ugly. Seats good(not great). Door panels good. Engine starts right up, sounds good, no noises. Tranny seems good but clutch needs hydraulics checked and maybe a clutch. Clear open title. I just got too old to spend time on it, I'm running out of it!!!!! Pretty decent, solid fun car.
