1931 Cord Auburn 898 Description

Body by Central Mfg Co # C2415072. Paint presentable but showing some age with minor flaking in small spots. All metal is solid, no rust. Fenders are really nice and no broken beads. Right front fender has at sometime had very minor repairs. Headlamps, side lamps, tail lamps are nice with bright chrome but not new. Dash and garnish moldings wood grain finish. Instrument panel cluster is nice with factory instruments. Odometer has 35045 miles. Doors close very solidly with good alignment. All wood appears good except wood floor pan needs attention under right front door hinge pillar. Cloth interior not worn or torn but showing some age. Glass is good. Tilt out windshield. Wood wheels good and tight with nice hub caps. Firestone WW as new. All original except electric fuel pump. Car ran well before I put in storage. I took it out of storage, new battery, started it but has knock in engine. Shut it off immediately. "I have no idea." A good, solid car excellent for restoration if one desires. Arizona title, no liens. Sold as-is where-is, no warranty is expressed on implied. Inspection is encouraged.
