1958 Edsel Pacer 2-Door. This car is a PROJECT car AND SOLD AS IT SITS. Please keep in mind while viewing photos that this car has been in storage for the past 40+ years. (Grandfather used to restore Edsel's and this one was never finished/started on.)The building is not a climate controlled environment. Edsel Pacer's were only made for one year so this car is RARE
It does not run but the engine turns free, it is missing some engine parts however. (Radiator, Carburetor, and cylinoid for sure, but I think a couple other things are missing) However, most of the engine is all there.
Crack in drivers side door windows (see photos uploaded 9/30) other Windows are ok.
There are dents to both front fenders and the front of the car is rough. There is a hole in the right front fender to can stick your hand in. (I forgot to take a photo) There are a few other rough spots but all in all its a pretty solid body. Trunk deck (bottom) looks very solid and does not have any rust spots. Paint may need redone unless you can touch it up - on the trunk there is a couple of pink/salmon colored spots where something has been dripped on it. This car will need body work done to it.
Interior will need completely redone. The seats are there but something ate through the front seat of the car so it will all need replaced to match properly. There are a couple dash dials missing too but the core of it is there. This is a Teletouch model.(see photos uploaded 9/30)
This car is sitting on three (3) blocks and a flat tire. If you purchase it,YOU will need to bring FOUR tires to roll the car out and onto your trailer. (The tire on it won't stay aired up)You will also need to bring lug nuts. I DO NOT have the rims that go with this car. (I have looked several times and I do not have them) I don't know what happened to them but I don't have them. You will also need to bring help to get it out of the building. I have no machines to move it and my mom cannot do any kind of heavy pushing/lifting.
PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR MORE INFORMATION -
THE ITEMS SITTING ON TOP THE HOOD OF THE CAR (windshield glass and seats) ARE NOT SOLD WITH THE CAR. They are just there because there isn't any place else to put them in the building at the moment.
I DO NOT have any replacement lenses to replace the broken ones on the car. Again, this car is being sold AS IT SITS.
PLEASE NOTE - I do not have the keys to this car as they were stolen several years ago.
NOTE AGAIN - With this being a project car and sitting for so long PLEASE ASSUME that it will need things like rocker panels and floor pans. I'm not going down and getting under the car. If you're really interested in it you're more than welcome to come look at it.
Title is in hand and is clear. This car has been in my family since my Grandfather bought it several years ago. I do not know who owned the car before he purchased it.
You are more than welcome to come take a look at the car before purchasing. But I will need a date and time scheduled as I have a job and my own business. Also, car will only be available for sale until the end of October because the building will be shut down at that time for winter.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my auction. Everything I sell helps me pay medical bills and support my family - so THANK YOU. Please check out my other sales!
