1996 Saturn S-Series SL2 Description

If you're a Saturn person, this may be the car you're looking for!
The car has 279,400+ miles on it, but the engine was replaced (by the dealer) in 2011, so THIS engine has about 68,000 miles on it.
Just completed smog test - California registration renewed through August 2017.
Here's a list of some of the maintenance that's been done in recent years (all work, unless otherwise noted, done by Dublin Chevrolet in Dublin, CA - formerly a Saturn dealer):
  • 2/17/2011 - New Engine (~212,000 miles)
  • 3/22/2013 - New Car Alarm - Autohaus Hayward, CA
  • 4/22/2013 - DieHard Gold GRP 75 Battery - Sears Hayward, CA
  • 6/3/2013 - A/C Compressor
  • 6/3/2013 - Right Rear Power Window
  • 9/16/2013 - Front Brake Service/Fluid Exchange
  • 6/21/2014 - Michelin Defender 90,000 mile tires w/Lifetime spin/balancing & refund/replacement certificate - America's Tire Store in Dublin, CA (~253,000 miles)
  • 6/23/2014 - Tie Rods & Front End Alignment
  • 8/31/2014 - Knock Sensor replacement
  • 10/28/2014 - Replace Starter
  • 4/24/2015 - Front Window Regulators
  • 4/24/2015 - Transmission & Engine Mounts
  • 4/27/2015 - Rear Brake Shoes; Resurface Drums
  • 4/27/2015 - Replace Serpentine Drive Belt
  • 4/27/2015 - Lower Transmission Mount
  • 6/18/2015 - Ignition Module
  • 6/18/2015 - Oxygen Sensor
  • 7/27/2015 - Catalytic Converter Sensor
  • 7/27/2015 - Right wheel bearing
  • 7/27/2015 - Oil Pan and Crankcase Seal
  • 4/18/2016 - Radiator, Upper & Lower Hoses (~277,000 miles)
Now, it's not "beautiful" - it's over 20 years old (I bought it on August 13, 1995), and I've been driving it all these years. But as you can see, I kept everything maintained mechanically, including never missing a 3,000 mile scheduled service.
It's also got a nice little Sony radio/CD/MP3/USB unit - it pairs with your phone so you can make and receive calls, and get text messages read to you - just like the new cars!
