2004 Saturn Vue Base Sport Utility 4-Door Description

I LOVE these little SUVs. I have always understood the Saturn "cult" thing but never really looked into it until recently. This one is one of the BEST versions that I have picked up. It's another New Car Store trade-in and is a 2 owner version according to the AutoCheck (see in pic #2 main above). My eyes and experience agree with that statement.

Above you can see the exterior is an easy 8.5 out of 10!! Black refections are amazing and shine very well with no fading or issues. Body is mostly plastic so there aren't any obvious rust spots, paint repairs or body damages. I can count on one hand the amount of dings on the hood/roof. Scratches are at a minimum with none large enough to point out in a picture. With the help of a little tire shine, even the lower vinyl portions look great!! No damages in the bumper cover regions aside some minimal parking lot scuffs.You can also see the recently replaced front Bridgestone Blizzak Winter tires, ready for the season ahead!! Rears are 90% treadlife left Firestones. Rims are steel but look new as if the prior owner ditched the leak prone factory GM aluminums. Unseen is the spare setup, aired up ready for your drive home! Also unseen are the recently replaced front brakes with no noticeable pulsing, grinding or noises. Since the rears are drum type, I can't vouch for the value...but I can say that the brakes are perfectly working and tight as new! Use 'em and they will throw you thru the dash if needed!

Biggest scratch can be seen above on the left rear panel next to the tail light. Rear bumper cover is nice. Glass is great. Rear is factory tinted which is always great for passengers!

Interior....9+ out of 10 all day!! Note the FIRST thing.....the near perfect armrests!! Saturn Vue GOLD right there!! I HATE smoke and can't smell any signs of a former smoker...BUT....sadly I did find a couple small burns. I would suggest a temporary driver like a newbie car salesperson being careless. Other than that....excellent interior!! No cuts, tears, damages or major stains! Carpet is clean. Vinyl is excellent. Even the shift knob and steering wheel look great!! From what I can tell, ALL the power items work as they should: power sunroof, power windows, cruise/steering wheel conntrols, AM/FM/CD player, locks, wipers, exterior/interior illumination, digital compass, auto-dim rear view, power mirrors, climate control with HOT Heat & ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING, etc!! Everything you need, nothing you don't.

As you can see above and below, ALL the dummy lights illuminate upon startup with NONE staying on during run. Hard to see, but the digital portion of the mileage is working properly showing 127xxx miles...just hard for my camera to see.

Brand NEW aftermarket floormats are ready to continue protection from the elements!

Above, only one small manual exists along with one key and one working keyless fob. A piece of value tho...this receipt for a $500+ repair for a shifter linkage replacement. Less worry for you!

Finally...the SPOTLESS engine compartment!! A clue to the former proper care and maintenance....the old school filter markings on the airbox!! There for life now! Filter is nearly new and clean, btw. The strong Interstate Battery fires the excellent engine right up. These EcoTec engines weren't the most quiet designs but this one is super smooth with no unusual noises, rattles or knocks. No misfires or issues. No overheating. Power is smooth thru every gear of the properly shifting transmission. Clutch operates as it should with no slipping or chattering. Pedal position is correct with no signs of excessive wear or future failure. Underneath you will see a clean dry underbelly. No signs or ANY major oil or coolant leaks. No spots on my shop floor. All fluids are clean. Wiggles and jiggles result a tight front suspension. Upon further inspection, I see new stabilizer bushings, stabilizer links and control arm bushings. No typical Vue front pops and rattles here!!This 2 Owner Black Beauty is READY TO GO!! I have personally testdriven and logged about 100 miles in this vehicle to ensure this.
