1937 Other Makes Hudson Terraplane Description

i found this fine terraplane in a garage where it was parked in 1969. brought it home on a friday night and buy saturday night was driving it around the barn. i loosened up brake adjusters to free the wheels, hooked up a gas tank and cleaned points.and freed a few stuck valves. i was amazed it started and ran so good after sitting that long. clutch was slipping but car moved pretty well. i have since replaced the points and wires.changed oil, cleaned the carb, replaced hoses, new battery, flushed gas tank. now running off tank. tried flushing the clutch with kero. and put in some atf now car will hardly move. this has all that auto shift and vaccum assist clutch stuff on it and i am not sure what i am doing with all that. so i cant say if the clutch needs replaced. motor starts up easy and purrs. with no knocks or taps. radiator holds water. brakes need wor, i got a rebuild kit for master cylinder but its to pitted to hone. i found two rust holes. one in passenger floor. and one in drivers door. drivers floor is getting thin but intact. no holes in trunk. this car is very solid for its age. roof is dent free. as are the doors accept for small bent corner at bottom of passenger door. front passenger fender has a dent at the bottom. rear drivers fender dented at bottom. small dent in passenger side hood. and dent in grill pictures should tell you the story on body condition. glass is all usable except drivers rear window. all the lights work. interior intact but water stained and some holes. car still has original gray paint. whats left. i cleaned it up and wiped it down with oil. keys could not be located i hot wired it to run it. also original paperwork with car. clear pa title. i am the third owner. underneath is surface rust only every thing is solid. tires hold air. it is unusual to find a car like this that has never been messed with. in this complete origial condition. the 2nd two pictures show where and as it was found. reserve is realistic. car can be picked up in lancater co pa. with cash please. thank you and happy to answer any questions. lamar
