1980 MG MGB Description

1980 Nonstandard MGB Limited EditionPurchased in April 2006, the LE needed major restorations when I picked it up. The vinyl top was ripped, interior was not taken care of and rust found in the trunk, floor pans and exterior of the wheel wells. The MG went to a restoration shop in Nashville and the disassembly began, the car was fully sandblasted, painted and new trunk and floor pans installed. The car went through major restoration in Nashville, TN at a British Car garage to complete the mechanics, engine and interior. The MG has all new components to include a new interior, new bucket seats, canvas top, CD player with speakers, wood steering wheel and carpeted trunk. The rear bumpers were repaired and repainted, new stainless steel exhaust system installed, new brakes/cylinder/ pads, leaf springs, rebuilt swivel axle kit, new fuel tank, belts hoses, radiator, 5 new Yokohama tires/rims, rebuilt tachometer, repainted rollbar and many more. The luggage rack is no longer available,the roll bar is the same color as the car, however notattached as depicted in the photos. The engine compartment was stripped, cleaned and repainted; all new hoses, radiator, etc. Overall, this is a great little MBand hasbeen passed hands through a few owners. I have put on 3,000 miles since the purchase, have entered it in 3 British car shows and have placed in all 3, over $20,000 invested in the restoration of this car. Why am I selling it, it needs to be driven more and appreciated by an avid British car enthusiast, nothing wrong with the vehicle what so ever, runs great.
