Story of this car.

I bought this 1961 MGA from the family of a local car collector and restorer that passed away 3 years ago. This car was his personal weekend driver. I knew him and he was a good car guy. I have owned and driven it for the last 2 summers and it’s been a very fun and strong running car.

I was told that Casey got this car out of Texas.

The body and floor panels show no rust at all and are very straight. It has new interior carpets.

It is a factory original positive ground car.

Oil pressure when warmed up is 55-60 PSI

All gauges work as does all lights.

Engine runs very strong and is quiet.

Tranny shifts cleanly and is very quiet.

Car tracks dead straight and brakes work great.

It comes with the convertible top frame only.

It has a tonneau cover but mice have eaten some holes in it.

The seats are not original. They look like they came out of a Triumph Spitfire.

The tires I would guess are over 10-15 years old.

This is not a perfect show car but it is a fine running car that I would not think twice about driving it to California tomorrow.
