1967 Austin Healey 3000 Description
You are bidding on a very nice 1967 Austin Healey 3000 BJ8 MK III.
Low miles, one proud owner for 47 years! Car spent its life in Alabama no rust. Not a show car but a very nice and well cared for driver. Wife and I have enjoyed this Healey for 3 years as a wonderful Sunday driver. Retiring soon and need to downsize. Car has had one repaint. Original outriggers, sills, toe well sections, trunk pan are solid and intact and need no repairs as most Healey's require. The rockers are beginning to show minor signs of bubbling. The rear shroud is excellent as is the trunk and trunk lid (no rust on inner lip). Original chrome work is very good. Bumpers and grill excellent. Engine compartment is clean and original. Engine and overdrive transmission are in very good condition. Oil pressure 55 to 60lbs, runs cool as it has a six blade cooling fan. Nice interior is original to the car, rear seat needs recovered available from Moss, rugs have been replaced and are very nice. Dash board is exceptional, Wood has beautiful burl design with no flaws or cracks. Tires are near new as are brakes. Comes with new tonneau and boot covers. Top is very nice including rear window. This BJ8 is HIGHLY documented, docs include; Original Window Sticker, Original Bill of Sale, Original Loan Agreement, Original Handbook, Original BMC metal warranty card, British Heritage Trust Certificate confirms all original numbers matching car including ignition key.
