1959 MG MGA Description

1959 MGA Roadster. Beautiful red with tan leather interior, black top. Frame off restoration in 2003. Never been out in the rain since rebuild. 5 speed Ford Sierra type 9 gearbox conversion. App 3700 miles since restoration. Less than 500 miles on new tires. Kept in garage, covered in winter. Generator to alternator conversion. Pertronix Igniter electronic ignition. Modern spin on oil filter adapter. Fumoto oil drain plug. (no need to pull plug to drain oil). New halogen headlights. Pictures of frame off restoration available. Motor rebuilt at time of restoration. Fuel gauge is not accurate. Other than that, all is well with this car.

I would like to clear one thing up. In one of the pictures the car has a state of Washington plate. I bought this car freshly restored in 2002 from a fellow in Washington. He had just finished the car and needed to sell as he was starting a business. I had it shipped here to Illinois. I had the 5 speed transmission professionally installed, changed the generator to alternator, ignition, steering wheel, etc. It's been here in my garage since 2002. I used a couple of the pictures that the original owner gave me in the listing because they were good pictures. Most of the pictures were taken by me here.
