2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic Description
STK 2071 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic Timeless style and the torque of a big V-twin engine make the Vulcan 1500 Classic one of Kawasaki's most popular cruisers. The classic cruiser look is long and low, which is exactly how the Vulcan's chassis is designed. This bike has factory Black/Burgundy 'flip-flop' metallic paint that is virtually flawless. With only 4,600 miles on the clock, it is hard to tell this Kawasaki from new. An extra-low 27.6-inch leather seat height, forward-mounted floorboards and plush suspension system make the 1500 Classic a comfortable ride. The speedometer, fuel gauge and warning lamps are located on a center console on top of the wide 4.2-gallon fuel tank. Add the freeway bars, nice bags and a full windshield and this bike is ready. The 1500 Classic engine displaces 90 cubic inches and shines with sculpted cylinders and polished cooling fins. It produces an incredible 83 lb/ft of torque at 3,000 rpm, perfect for city streets or open highways. This advanced, liquid cooled, SOHC design has four valves per cylinder actuated by a single overhead cam. A throttle position sensor is connected to the electronic ignition to vary ignition timing according to throttle setting and engine rpm. The result is better engine response and lower fuel consumption. The engine produces the distinctive V-twin rumble through a set of after-market straight pipes (original pipes included). The Vulcan 1500 Classic's five-speed transmission takes advantage of the engine's generous torque by utilizing precisely spaced gears to provide smooth, quiet shifting for seamless acceleration. This is one nice cruiser. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS ISâ€.
