I am selling this car for a friend of mine. It is a 1956 original Austin Healey 100. It ran at Sebring in 1961 in the Central Florida meet. At that time, we're not sure if it had a 265 cubic inch Chevy small block or a 283. Since then the car has had a complete frame off restoration and quite a number of updates. Also included is a large number of pictures taken during the restoration process. It now has a 355 cubic inch small block Chevy with a Muncie 4 speed transmission. The rear end has been updated to a 9 inch Ford with limited slip. The car has disc brakes all the way around. Also included is the driver side race windshield from the 1961 race.
The owner has a vast amount of Austin Healey original parts that he would like to sell with the car. Some of the parts included are original top bows and a new convertible top still in the box, one extra rear fender, 2 more original wire wheels that match the front, 2 or 3 sets of brake drums and backing plates original rear and front suspensionoriginal NOS rear stainless fender welting. I'm sure that there are a lot more parts available that I haven't mentioned.
If the weather was nice, you could fly in a drive this car home, but being December in Indiana, I wouldn't advise. For further information, I can be reached at 260-433-6954 and if need be, I can also put you in contact with the owner.
