Offered for sale is a1948 Federal 16M truck I have owned since the early 1990's intending to restore and I know that will never happen so someone else can let it sit for a few years just as I have. Federals are about as rare as chicken's teeth so you won't see many of them. I painted the truck in early 1997 after a complete teardown and professional sandblasting.Ihauled the truck to the national ATHS show in 1997 in Greensboro NC and the truck has been parked beside my garage since then with a canvas over the cab. The fold out windshields are in the seat and the windows are stored. I never worked on the truck after 1998 so the 4 gallons of red have worn off in some places.
