This is an electric car/van that I got with hopes of redoing the drive system to go around 45 MPH, but I got too many projects going and it's been sitting a few months now. Currently, it will only go around 10 MPH, since the batteries that I have in it are from a solar setup. You need CCA ( Cold Cranking Amps ) for an electric car. This is made to go 25 MPH for the USA
The original batteries are by Optima, Blue Top D31M, Part number 8052-161. I think the cheapest I found a set of 6 was for $1400, shipped on Amazon.
It has a Curtis AC motor controller and it is supposed to recharge the batteries when braking.
It could be used as is for in town driving and does have a clean WA title. I would suggest loading it on a trailer to get it home, as 6-10 MPH is slow and I'm not sure the range it has with the current batteries.
Right now the reverse switch is stuck, so you have to hold it to go forward.
