2008 Saturn Astra XR Description

The Saturn Astra was sold in the US for only one year - 2008. The Astra is a Belgian built Opel that was re-badged and was a best-seller all over the world as a Vauxhall, Holden, Chevrolet, and Saturn (in the US). These cars are extremely rare in the US (but parts are easy to get!) and compares to the Volkswagen Golf & Mini Cooper. It drives like a German car and has the steering and road feel that one expects in Europe.
This Astra is even more unique as I have converted all of the badges (except the airbag) from Saturn to the British Vauxhall brand. It gets looks wherever it goes and is one of the most unique cars you can have for the money. I have been the only owner of this gem and have babied it for the past 8 years. It only has a bit over 57,000 miles and is loaded with just about every possible feature available at the time:
- Vauxhall re-badging (front grille, wheel center caps, door sills, and rear hatch badge sourced from the UK)
- Leather heated seats
- Panoramic sunroof (the best feature - trust me!)

This car has been adult owned and meticulously maintained (dealer maintained - includes all documentation). There is some normal wear and tear on the paint and rims but nothing unusual for the age or a black car. One rim is also more scuffed than the rest. Tires have almost 25,000 miles on them. The interior looks brand new and has never been smoked in. No kids or pets in the car either.
This car has no known problems and drives great. The only maintenance coming up are rear brake pads, an oil change, and wheel balancing. Other than that, this is a pristine example of the Astra. Includes 2 keys, all documentation, Please note that the vanity tag does not stay with the car as I am going to use it on my next Vauxhall converted car.
I can't say enough good things about the car. It is gorgeous and gets thumbs up everywhere I go. It gets as much attention as cars 10x the price - valets love it!
