1950 Austin Devon Description

1950 Austin Devon A40 - clean NYSregistration. I drove this car until I felt motor needed a rebuild. Motor was running when I pulled it out. Motoris not in the vehicle.Motor and all hardware come with sale.

New brake cylinders and shoes with machined original brake drums. Brand new tires and tubes mounted on TR-3 wheels using adapters.

Transmission shifted well and rest of drive line had no issues.

Body is solid - floors/trunk are very good and need no attention.

Doors are hung square and open/close with a nice, solid sound as you would expect. The only body issue is on the right front door which was dented and had an amateur repair done.

Interior is rough, original blue leather, depending on your use of the car, interior is presentable.

All lights and gauges work - wiring is complete and typical good spots/less than good spots.

Odometer shows 45K, but I cannot testify to that. This I a fun car to drive, as basic mechanically as possible, and oozes character. A great little car!
