1953 Studebaker 3/4 ton Pickup Description

I drive this truck often and have used it to haul lumber, bagged concrete, moved kids and grand kids. Entered it in a few car shows and won a trophy or two. It runs great, does not use oil or smoke, always starts and stops very tight. Well built truck. Drives very well at highway speeds, 60-65 mph no engine strain, thanks to the overdrive transmission. Not a speed demon but will get you there and back home loaded or not. Thumbs up everywhere it goes. Well maintained and always garaged.
Additional info as followed:

• Recent complete brake job
• Radiator flushed and leak checked all new hoses
• Truck bed in great shape (painted bed liner) custom made polished deck plate insert for show
• Had all new 16in. tubeless steal wheels made, got away from split ring wheels, still has nylon 8 ply like new tires on it. Could have radial tires installed. Also has polished big rig looking wheel covers on it. Spare tire is a radial.
• Engine has less that 10000 miles on it, rare N.O.S. Studebaker Crate Motor (installed before I owned it)
• Transmission overdrive N.O.S. bought at Studebaker auction and installed. Is activated by switch under dash. Will not go into reverse with switch on. Turn off switch when parked.
• Wiring is all upgraded, no cloth insulated wire. 6 volt positive ground system with 6 volt alternator, still has floor start system.
• Patched and welded small areas in floorboard.
• Professional paint job 4 years ago. Noticed 2 small rust spots on front of hood above grill, see pics. No rust anywhere else.
• No flaws in glass
• Has new interior with ivory colored power coated door panels with trim. New headliner new floor mat.
• Custom made rear bumper and hitch
• 6 volt under dash A.M. radio that works
• Vacuum operated trico fan on steering column
• All turn signals work
• Wipers are vacuum
• Will include complete 6 volt electric system
• Has N.O.S. speedometer needle broke off on old one and is included in sale
• Maintenance manual included in sale

Will include full set of fenders, full set of brake drums, original 3 speed transmission, extra clutch and pressure plate, bell housing, extra misc. parts. Bumper from a 2 ton Studebaker truck, extra 6 volt battery.
